Invert (Standard)

This image enhancement reverses the colors present on an image. This process can be useful for converting white text to black, which is more conducive for OmniPage OCR.

Show an example.

Using Invert 

1. Select the Image Processing node in the Scanning Explorer Pane.
2. Select Invert in the Document Properties Pane.
3. In the configuration wizard, specify the pages this enhancement will be applied to.

   

4. Click Finish.

5. Optional: To preview how this enhancement will affect scanned images, select Test Process.

   Tip: For the best results, add a custom sample image before testing.
